Can't access files and folders after upgrading to Vista

In some situations, you may find that you're unable to access certain
files and folders created in XP after you upgrade to Vista. What's up
with that? It happens when access control entries can't be read during
the installation process, which prevents them from being migrated to
Vista. Luckily, there's something you can do about it. To find the step
by step instructions for fixing the problem, see KB article 942970 at

Old Routers may not work with Vista's new networking features

If you have an outdated router on your network, you may find yourself
getting slow connection speeds when you put a Vista computer on the
network. That's because the new networking stack in Vista may not be
fully compatible. Sometimes you get dropped packets and sometimes the
router stops working altogether and you have to reset it. The best
option is to upgrade, but to find out more, see KB article 932134 at
