VoptXP v 7.11 Win9x, ME, 2000, XP ($40)

Vopt is got to be the safest to use defragmentation software available. The company, Golden Bow, attended a club meeting and gave a demo of Vopt. During the hard drive defrag the PC was unplugged. When power was reapplied the PC booted normally. Then Vopt was launched and the defrag restarted. Vopt continued and finished as if nothing ever happened to interrupt it. The speed of the defrag operation was also impressive. There are versions for all of the Windows versions. A fully functional (30 day time limited) copy of the software can can be downloaded from the web site.
